San Diego State 74, Pittsburgh 57In the second semifinal of the day in Maui, San Diego State defeated Pittsburgh 74-57. The Aztecs advance to Wednesday's EA SPORTS Maui Invitational final, the first of which school history.
Trey Kell led the Aztecs with 15 points, while Winston Shepard added 13 and Angelo Chol putup 10 off the bench. San Diego State jumped out to a 14 point 39-25 lead going into half and was able to keep pace with Pittsburgh in the second half.
In the loss, James Robinson led all scorers with 17 points for the Panthers. Pittsburgh will play Kansas State Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
